SEGREGATION AT KINGSTON PENITE
In both Prisoners of Isolation and Justice behind the Walls I have described the history of solitary confinement and segregation and how the historical patterns of abuse of the prison's ultimate power have contemporary resonance. The CBC, in a series of stories on " The World at 8", "The Current and " The World at 6" provide a window into the latest chapter in this unfolding history.
